- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The Long Bar is a firm favourite, both when I am at work and at home. The Long Bar is an absolute hive of activity during the lunch time period in the week. They can cater for small groups of 2 to larger groups of 15. Even when the place is packed, the service is smart and efficient. They will also do a separate bill per person so its ideal for leaving dos. They take phone orders and offer a takeaway service. After hours the restaurant is a little less busy and there is always plenty of parking outside. So I will quite often ring up and nip in for a quick takeaway. The food is pretty good and they seem to cater for each taste. Good noodles, good rice dishes, good curry dishes.
